10/07/2013 SNSD Wins "Best Global Idol Group" at the 10th Huading Awards

Their October 7 win for 'Best Global Idol Group' at the 10th Huading Awards in Macau is, therefore, not at all surprising.

The award ceremony was held at the Venetian in Macau and was attended only by Girls' Generation member Jessica, due to the busy schedules of the other members.

The award for Best Global Idol Group was presented by Steve Yoo, a former K-Pop superstar himself who now has an acting career in China, and was accepted by Jessica on behalf of her entire group.

In her acceptance speech, Jessica thanked the Girls' Generation fans and spoke a bit of humble Chinese ('xie xie', or 'thank you').
